Duties :Sr Plumber
Responsible for complex plumbing tasks, provides technical guidance to technicians, assists with coordination, and ensures compliance in plumbing systems throughout a hospital facility. Leveraging extensive expertise, this role is critical in maintaining essential services that directly impact patient care, safety, and infection control.
Required Qualifications :Sr Plumber
- Minimum of four years plumbing experience around machinery required.
- Completion of trade school or union-backed licensing program in lieu of high school diploma or equivalent required.
- State of Nebraska Journeyman Plumber / Fitter license required.
- Basic computer, email, and database skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of customers (e.g., patient care providers, patients, visitors, management, etc.) required.
- Mechanically inclined and proficient with plumbing tools, drain cleaning equipment, and diagnostic devices required.
- Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics required.
- Current valid motor vehicle operator license and ability to meet and maintain insurability required.
Sr Plumber
- Master plumbing license preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare facility systems (medical gas, biohazard waste lines) preferred.
