We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Master Electrician Manager to oversee our electrical department. This leadership role involves managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes, and supervising a team of electricians. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality workmanship, coordinating projects, and supporting department growth. As a department manager, this role requires strong technical expertise combined with effective leadership skills to ensure efficient project execution and team development.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the electrical department, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
  • Manage and supervise a team of licensed electricians and apprentices, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to plan and execute electrical work according to project specifications and deadlines.
  • Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine resource needs and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, permits, and compliance records.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues on-site or in the planning phase to ensure timely resolution.
  • Foster a safety-first environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting electrical work.
  • Support business growth by identifying opportunities for process improvements or new service offerings.
Skills
  • Valid licensure as a Master Electrician with active licensing in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience managing electrical projects and teams in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively as a department manager.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
