We are seeking experienced Commercial Finish Carpenters for an upcoming airport construction project in Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates should have a strong background in commercial finish carpentry, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship in a professional construction environment.
This is a great opportunity for skilled carpenters looking to join a commercial project with an anticipated start date in approximately 3-4 weeks.
Responsibilities- Perform commercial finish carpentry work on an airport construction project.
- Install doors, frames, trim, moldings, hardware, and other finish components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
- Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately.
- Ensure all finished work meets project quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Coordinate with other trades and follow direction from project supervisors.
- Follow all applicable jobsite safety procedures and requirements.
- 3-4+ years of commercial finish carpentry experience required.
- Hands-on experience with commercial construction and finish installations.
- Must provide your own tools necessary for finish carpentry work.
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must have no felony convictions within the past 10 years, subject to applicable requirements and project screening policies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a construction team.
