Weatherization Crew Specialist

Play a vital role in improving housing conditions and energy efficiency for low-income families by joining Blue Valley Community Action Partnership as a Weatherization Crew Specialist based out of Fairbury, NE. This position involves coordinating and performing housing rehabilitation and weatherization tasks to achieve program objectives.

As a Weatherization Crew Specialist
, you will:

• Perform weatherization tasks such as insulation, window/door repair, blower door tests, infiltration and venting work, and lead‑safe practices.
• Ensure compliance with program requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate schedules with participants, inspectors, and team members.
• Support the Weatherization Program Director and other department needs.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, inspectors, and team members.
• Work collaboratively with other departmental teams.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in building sciences, property management, or maintenance preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Must demonstrate strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
