Fostering Futures is hiring Part-Time Weekend Youth Care Workers ($19-$22/hr) to support at‑risk youth in our Omaha residential care program. We are filling MULTIPLE openings - pick the shift that fits your life:

• Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Day shift)
• Saturday & Sunday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM (Evening shift)
• Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM (Overnight shift)

This is a great fit for students, second‑job seekers, parents, retirees, or anyone who wants to make a real difference in a kid's life - without giving up their weekdays.

• Be a positive role model and trusted adult for youth in our care
• Lead activities, recreational outings, and skill‑building moments
• Guide youth through daily routines (meals, hygiene, chores, recreation)
• Help youth build life skills, handle emotions, and resolve conflict
• Support a calm, structured, and respectful environment
• Document daily observations and youth progress
• Step in supportively during tough moments using trained techniques (we provide the training!)

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with youth in any setting is a plus (camps, coaching, mentoring, tutoring, babysitting, schools, group homes - it all counts)
• Strong communicator who stays calm under pressure
• Reliable, kind, and committed to showing up for kids who need you
• Must pass a background check
• Valid driver's license preferred
