Applications are being accepted for part-time Bus Drivers with possible opportunities for full-time employment. The driver of a school vehicle is responsible for safely transporting students to and from their designated pick-up points and attendance areas. The vehicle must be operated in accordance with state laws and the policies, regulations, and procedures established by the school district. The driver must successfully complete the district's school bus driver training program and maintain the required license and a good driving record.
The driver is responsible for students' safety during transportation. Required qualifications include not posing a threat to the health or safety of oneself or others and the ability to attend to duties regularly. This position is subject to veterans' preference.
