Oversee the efficient and safe transportation of goods by managing our Local and Over the Road Fleets. This role ensures product integrity and delivery timeliness while upholding safety standards and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Input and coordinate loads in the Transportation Management Software (McLeod TMS) to support our transportation fleet. Actively monitor driver performance, deliver real‑time coaching through Samsara, enforce adherence to company policies, and collaborate with leadership to continuously improve routing and delivery strategies.
Act as a point of contact with our suppliers and logistics partners to help our fulfillment network by providing the products, packaging, and refrigerants our customers need.
- Serve as the key point of contact for suppliers, third‑party logistics providers, and external vendors. Manages the flow of products, packaging, and refrigerants to support the distributed fulfillment network and meet customer requirements.
- Enter and manage all load data within the Transportation Management System (TMS) for complete tracking and visibility. Handles TMS billing, invoicing while helping the accounting team with monthly reports. Enters driver weekly pay along with other weekly reports.
- Work alongside the Fleet Manager to manage daily schedules and assignments. Support fleet maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations for safe operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with transportation standards and policies while organizing all driver files, maintenance files and anything related to compliance.
- Support the execution of peak‑season logistics plans and cross‑functional projects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational workflows and system utilization.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including responding to operational issues during off‑hours, weekends, and overnight shifts as needed.

Skills and Abilities
- 4‑year college degree or equivalent experience
- Transportation, logistics, Supply chain or Business Management preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in coordination supply chain & transportation/logistics background or 4‑year degree in similar field.
- Transportation Management Systems (preferably McLeod TMS)
- Experience with Samsara or other related telematics platforms is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and web‑based freight/load boards
- Ability to make sound business decisions
- Strong knowledge of freight operations, dispatching, routing, and DOT regulations
- Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate options, make decisions, and resolve operational challenges under time constraints.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of business‑critical decisions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and customers.
- Detail‑oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
