Transfer Driver​/Warehouse Associate

We have a great opportunity for a motivated Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our team! This position will focus on delivering material to our customers in a timely manner. You will also ensure products get where they need to be by receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting and assistance with general maintenance of the warehouse.

Hours:

7 AM - 4 PM (depending)

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Pick, pack, and ship orders using an RF scanner. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
• Receive and store inventory in a safe and correct manner.
• Perform cycle counts regularly.
• Record damaged or defective materials.
• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.
• Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise, reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager.
• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Receive and check‐in deliveries, pickups and returns to ensure quality and quantity of products.
• Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment.
• Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition.

• Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jack. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
• Basic problem‑solving skills and computer skills
