- Lead mechanical maintenance activities during the assigned shift.
- Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Support plant shutdowns, start-ups, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain the reliability of critical DRI plant equipment.
- Coordinate spare parts and maintenance activities through SAP/CMMS.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 12-15 years of relevant experience; OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 15-18 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in Gas-Based DRI Plants is required.
- Experience with MIDREX or HYL/ENERGIRON/HYL ZR technology is highly preferred.
- Strong experience with DRI mechanical equipment such as reactors, compressors, water systems, PGH, and HBI machines.
- Strong preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance experience.
- Experience with plant shutdowns and cold/hot commissioning.
- Knowledge of SAP/CMMS.
- Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Good English communication skills.
