Join Our Vision Services Team as an Ophthalmic Tech I Float! Are you passionate about patient care and looking to grow your career in eye health? We're seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to support our eye care team by assisting physicians during appointments and performing diagnostic testing. No prior optical experience is required—we'll provide all the training you need! This role will travel to all of our optical locations to provide support and coverage.

• 0.9 FTE, 36 hours per week
• Monday - Friday; typically between 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Clinics:
  Decorah and Waukon, IA;
  Prairie du Chien, Viroqua, Hillsboro, Friendship, Sparta, Tomah, Black River Falls, Whitehall, La Crosse, and Onalaska, WI;
  Winona
• Starting rate of $19.86/hr
• $1.25/hour float differential

• Provide technical assistance during patient appointments
• Perform diagnostic testing to support clinical care
• Deliver a high-quality experience to patients and guests
• Travel to Gundersen optical locations including:
  Decorah and Waukon, IA;
  Prairie du Chien, Viroqua, Hillsboro, Friendship, Sparta, Tomah, Black River Falls, Whitehall, La Crosse, and Onalaska, WI;
  Winona, MN

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification through JCAHPO within 18 months of hire
