Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 pm – 6:00 am
Location: Onalaska, WI
Starting Wage: $26.00–$31.00/hour + $3.00/hour shift differential (based on experience)
Bonus: Quarterly Profit Sharing AND Pay Increase Opportunity Twice Per Year!
- Conduct day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance and repair across production equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Perform preventive and condition‑based maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues quickly and accurately.
- Support Facilities Maintenance as needed, including assisting with baling operations using forklifts.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation per company and regulatory standards.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
- Required: Safe maintenance practices (LOTO, preventive/predictive maintenance), mechanical systems (machinery, hydraulics, conveyors), and vendor management.
- Preferred: 6‑S, OSHA training (LOTO, confined spaces, electrical safety, fall protection, hot works), CMMS, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Required: Positive attitude; strong communication and teamwork; basic computer skills; troubleshooting, repair, welding, and problem‑solving.
- Preferred: Experience with large mechanical equipment, forklift maintenance, motors, and basic welding.
- Plan and organize daily and long‑term maintenance activities.
- Analyze and solve technical problems quickly and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, owner’s manuals, and schematics.
- Work independently with urgency and attention to detail.
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts (preferred).
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Preferred:
Industrial maintenance or electro‑mechanical certification.
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting with moving equipment and conveyors.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Use of forklifts, scissor lifts, and power tools as needed.
- Exposure to noise, dust, and mechanical/electrical hazards.
- PPE required; adherence to all safety and LOTO protocols.
