The Maintenance Technicians respond to the needs of our salons. We perform our duties to the highest quality standard in the business. The Maintenance Technician contributes to the mission of Sun Tan City by keeping our equipment in prestige condition while keeping up on the general maintenance and cleanliness of the salon.

The Maintenance Technician’s primary duties include maintaining tanning equipment to any of our Sun Tan City specifications designated and maintaining the facilities of designated salons. Daily travel to salons within the required IA, MN & WI territory, some overnights necessary.

A Sun Tan City Maintenance Technician performs maintenance duties necessary to maintain the physical condition of tanning equipment and the overall appearance of assigned salons. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Tanning Equipment:
  Including repair and preventive maintenance, lamp changes
• General Facility Maintenance:
  Including minor plumbing, electrical knowledge, familiar with computer hook up, wall/door repair, sheet rock work (patch/paint), etc

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have working knowledge of various hand tools
• Electrical and Electronics background is a plus
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Must be self-motivated and willing to learn exciting new things
