Gundersen Health System is looking to add a Software Engineer to our growing Integration and Automation team. Be a part of revolutionizing healthcare technology!
What’s Available- Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule:
Monday-Friday days - Location:
Onsite in Onalaska, Wisconsin;
Role has ability to shift to a remote basis but is limited to only residents of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa - Immigration sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available for this position.
We have the ability to fill this opportunity as a Software Engineer or Senior level Software engineer depending on your relevant work experience
What You Will Need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and education
- 2+ years of software development experience and proficiency in a variety of programming languages and integration platforms
- In-depth knowledge of systems design and demonstrated leadership on a small to mid-scale
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Experience working as part of an agile organization or working on an agile team
- In partnership with a Product Owner, liaise with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, define requirements and deliver high quality solutions
- Experience designing and building Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and cloud-native solutions
- Working with a variety of backends including data lakes, relational databases and API technologies including REST or GraphQL
- Familiar with Agile and/or Scrum framework
- Experience with CI/CD Systems, Azure Dev Ops, Github Actions, Jenkins
- Strong preference for candidates with testing experience (Jest, Playwright, Pytest, JUnit, etc.)
