Cardiac Sonography specializing in Echo. With access to cutting‑edge technology and a supportive team, you will deliver high‑quality care and contribute to positive outcomes.

• Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images for interpretation.
• Set up and adjust equipment; manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
• Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
• Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
• Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report problems or malfunctions; lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
• Ensure prompt submission of high‑quality images and documents to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, patient data/history).
• Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly department including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and other areas in the department.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• One or more of the following:
  • Cardiographic Sonographer credentialed by CCI (obtained prior to hire or job transfer).
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) issued by CCI.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed by ARRT (obtained prior to or within 12 months of hire).
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed by ARRT (obtained prior to or within 12 months of hire).
  • Vascular Technologist (VT) credentialed by ARDMS (obtained prior to hire).
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credentialed by ARDMS (obtained within 12 months of hire).

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of experience or Associate’s degree required; graduate of an accredited sonography program preferred.
