To provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day‑to‑day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants, ensuring quality care per federal, state, and local regulations under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services and Administrator.

• Provide direct nursing care, including treatments and medication administration.
• Plan and monitor resident care, coordinate with consultants, implement changes, and consult physicians during rounds.
• Enter patient information into the documentation system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing or in training to satisfy requirements for an RN in Alabama.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have the ability to read and write legibly and understand English.
• Must possess prior nursing experience or completion of a training program.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, and regulations governing long‑term care.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
