Your Role:As the RN Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and mentoring our dedicated nursing staff while ensuring the highest standards of care in our long-term care environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all supervisory duties for your assigned unit
- Establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures
- Mentoring less experienced nurses, providing clinical and career guidance
- Maintaining and enhancing the standards of care for the unit
- Reviewing resident records and quality of care
- Monitoring overall care and reviewing individual residents’ cases
- Addressing questions or concerns from residents and their families
- Representing the unit's interests to upper management
To thrive in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Valid State RN License
- 3 years of long-term care experience preferred
- 2 years of charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
