Accountant - Temporary ASAP in Media Entertainment

Our client is a Global Media Firm that has been in high-growth with a very young environment and culture.

The team is looking for a Temporary Accountant that will be assisting the team with full cycle accounting along side many different internal teams. They are very flexible working within a hybrid work from home, seeking someone at 3 days in office.

These professionals will be an integral part of the accounting team. This individual will help with month-end-close process and accruals within the balance sheet and P&L.

What you’ll do:

  • Actively participates in month-end close processes, booking journal entries and providing appropriate detail level review and analysis.
  • Aids A/P and A/R Staff with invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and prepare monthly spreadsheet schedules used for Financial Statement compilation.
  • Aids A/P Staff with weekly/semi-weekly payment runs.
  • Assists with year-end financial and other audits as required.
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting of financial results, and undertakes other special projects as requested.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is a Must; preferably Accounting.
  • 2+ years high volume Accounting Transactions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
