Tax Professional - Franchise

Seasonal Tax Professional – CPA or EA (Work from Home)

• Conduct client interviews face-to-face and through virtual tools—video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete, accurate individual, trust, partnership and other complex tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support, including tax notice services and audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing complex individual, trust, partnership returns
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and using virtual tools—video, phone, chat
• Experience with tax planning and audit support, including audit representation for Circular 230 associates
• Sales and marketing experience is a plus
• Must complete continuing education and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent or higher
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
