Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Audit Manager to join their team on the partner track. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of recent, hands-on commercial audit experience, with a strong background in sectors such as franchisee operations, construction, logistics, and manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to work with middle market clients and play a key role in the growth and success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements for middle market clients, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and value.
- Supervise and mentor audit staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop audit plans that address key risks and opportunities.
- Review and analyze financial statements, internal controls, and business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insightful recommendations to clients for enhancing financial reporting, operational efficiency, and internal controls.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.
- Collaborate with other partners and senior managers to drive business development and firm growth initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all client interactions and engagements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of recent, hands-on commercial audit experience.
- Strong background in auditing sectors such as franchisee operations, construction, logistics, and manufacturing.
- Experience with the PPC audit methodology is highly desirable.
- CPA certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service and building long-term client relationships.
- Experience with a mid-size firm is preferred.
