The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations across nine entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This hands-on role requires a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional with strong knowledge of GAAP, full-cycle accounting, and multi-entity environments. The Accounting Manager will support the Controller and executive leadership by maintaining financial integrity, improving processes, and contributing to the organization’s financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, payroll, bank reconciliations, and monthly/annual close processes across multiple entities.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Process Improvements: Assist in evaluating, cleaning up, and streamlining existing accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Consolidations: Support the preparation of consolidated financial reports and ensure accurate intercompany accounting among multiple operating and real estate holding entities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting to management.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with GAAP and assist in preparation for audits, working closely with internal and external auditors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Team Support & Development: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and driving team performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus).
• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Experience in multi-entity environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and inventory accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in accounting software (experience with Epicor P21, MS Dynamics, Net Suite, or similar platforms preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
