Sr. Staff Accountant

This position will be based out of the newly established shared services office in Maryland Heights, MO.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and management of vendor relationships
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies and procedures at each location and department
• Identify opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and technology adoption to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial transactions and balance sheet reconciliations, including recording monthly journal entries and ensuring operating teams adhere to month-close deadlines
• Consolidate financial information from multiple locations and departments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the consolidated financial statements
• Coordinate and oversee internal and external reviews, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or progress toward CPA designation is a plus
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis tools. Sage Intacct experience a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong desire for success in a fast-moving organization
• Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
