Our client is a leading healthcare company and they wish to hire a Director of Accounting that will lead the company’s accounting operations ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Overseeing the financial close process, technical accounting, internal controls, and build a high-performing accounting team.

Essential duties will include-

• Manage general ledger, monthly/quarterly/annual close cycles, consolidations, and U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Guide revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), business combinations (ASC 805), stock‑based comp (ASC 718), debt and financial instruments
• Enhance existing controls, document processes, and manage internal/external audits
• Lead workflow and systems improvements, including ERP enhancements, automation, and dashboard development
• Develop, mentor, and manage a geographically distributed accounting team, with a focus on succession planning and performance tracking
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, IT, and Finance on reporting, planning, M&A, and integration efforts
• Interface directly with external auditors, and participate in board and audit committee meetings

Job requirements-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• CPA required
• Public Accounting is a big plus
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred
• PE experience is a plus
• 10+ years’ experience in progressive accounting roles
• Proven track record with technical GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, and financial reporting in a growth environment
• Strong ability to lead, collaborate, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
• Experience implementing or enhancing ERP systems and reporting tools; advanced Excel skills
