Legal Billing Specialist (Client Account Specialist)
Location: Fully Remote | Preferred near Reston, New York, Chicago, Washington DC, or Boston
Compensation: $35–$42/hour | Non-exempt (OT eligible after 40 hours)
A leading international law firm is seeking a Legal Billing Specialist with at least 2 years of billing experience in a law firm or professional services environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. This fully remote position offers room for growth within a well-established billing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, edit, and process client invoices in accordance with firm and client billing guidelines
- Work closely with attorneys, clients, and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries
- Ensure accurate time entry, billing rates, and compliance with client-specific requirements
- Assist in maintaining client accounts and support month-end billing processes
Qualifications:
- 1.5+ years of legal or professional services billing experience (required)
- Experience with Aderant or Elite/3E billing systems (preferred)
- Strong Excel and data entry skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required)
