Pugh Executive Search seeks an Accounting Manager/Controller for a privately held, distribution/services company based in Northwest Dallas. Reporting to the CFO, this Hands-On Accountant will manage a small team and focus much of their effort on improving the accounting processes and reporting using the Net Suite ERP system in an effort to streamline the efforts. The CFO desires a candidate with 3 years of External Audit experience, and preferably a CPA, to mentor this individual into becoming the company controller.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for the following:

• BBA in Accounting
• CPA is a plus but not required
• 3 busy seasons from External Audit at a public accounting firm.
• Must have strong Excel including Pivot Tables and Lookups
• Must be a people person with a flexible personality and excellent written and verbal communication skills
