Role OverviewWe are seeking a qualified and confident accounting professional with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be open to taking on a variety of responsibilities. The ideal candidate is adaptable, analytical, and team-oriented, yet capable of working independently when needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger (GL) posting and R2R accounting.
Journal entry preparation for daily bank receipts.
Accounts receivable: invoice generation, receipt application (via Yardi), and resolution of related issues.
Accounts payable: vendor invoice processing and payment coordination.
Monthly bank reconciliations and financial statement reviews.
Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting.
Handle inquiries from clients, property managers, and residents.
Manage purchase order processes and resolve discrepancies.
Onboard vendors and verify insurance compliance with internal standards.
Utility Bill Oversight
Manage and track utility payments via Real Page.
Ensure timely payments and maintain accurate records for utility expenses.
Qualifications & RequirementsMust be a qualified CA, CPA, CMA, or US CPA
1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GL, AP/AR processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel; experience with Yardi, Real Page, and Quick Books Online is a plus
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage high volumes of work
Additional RequirementsMust be available to work in PST/EST U.S. time zones
Comfortable with a fully remote work setup
