Tax Manager - Japanese Bilingual; Remote OK

Overview

Our firm works solely with small business owners and high net worth individuals to properly plan for their taxes, throughout the year, and get the chance to showcase real tax savings when we file their return.

You'll be a great fit if:

• You like to find ways to save people money on taxes
• You have a solid understanding of how the tax code works (specifically for business entities)
• You want to host tax planning kickoff calls, implementation calls and quarterly calls to help provide tax advisory services to our clients throughout the year
• You will be delighted to prepare or review returns that showcase the final tax savings our clients will receive
• You will be interested and intrigued when complex clients are signed up and are uniquely interested in spotting potential tax errors when reviewing clients accounting system
• You want to help train internal staff and build an incredible tax advisory team

• To be considered, you'll need:
• 3+ years in public accounting doing boring tax work
• 1+ years of managing a team of 3 people or less
• A CPA license, be an enrolled agent or have an LLM/JD in tax better but not required. Experience is more important
• An insatiable hunger to find way for our clients to save money on taxes
• Fluency in Japanese
