Milestone is a rapidly growing professional services firm that provides Outsourced Accounting and HR services to small and medium-sized businesses. We are headquartered in Indianapolis but have a national footprint. Our team members are talented, committed, and fun-loving. This is a remote position with occasional travel to the Indianapolis, Indiana area. Candidates within a reasonable driving distance of Indianapolis are preferred.

• Process Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable transactions for our clients
• Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
• Recurring journal entries
• Work with clients to provide updates and answer questions, escalating to a Controller when necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Advanced knowledge of QBO and experience with cloud-based accounting software and tools (, Tallie, Gusto, etc.) preferred
• Passionate about technology and able to learn new software quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized with great attention to detail and an emphasis on creating an excellent customer experience
