Our large publicly held client in Irvine is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their Irvine-based corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate is available to work onsite with the flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.

Compensation: $130k to $150k + bonus opportunity

• Lead and manage a team of roughly five accounting professionals.
• Oversee core accounting activities, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Provide technical accounting support, including lease accounting, impairment analysis, revenue recognition, and ASC research.
• Work with large data sets and perform advanced data analysis using tools such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Support continuous process improvements and collaborate cross‑functionally with various accounting silos.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a small accounting team (approximately five people).
• Strong technical accounting background and familiarity with ASC codification.
• Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large data volumes.
• Public accounting or public company experience is preferred but not required.
• Candidates from a small private company (6+ years) are also acceptable.
