Senior Technical Accounting Manager

We are looking for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to work for our client. This leadership role will oversee technical accounting operations, ensure compliance with evolving standards, and guide the team in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Lead and manage the technical accounting team, providing guidance and mentorship
• Oversee preparation of financial variance analyses and reporting schedules for executive stakeholders
• Research and evaluate new accounting standards, draft technical accounting memos, and assess impact on company policies
• Direct development of month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial statement packages for leadership review
• Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP and maintain accuracy across reporting processes
• Analyze and resolve complex accounting issues, offering strategic recommendations
• Drive continuous process improvement, implement best practices, and strengthen internal controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, audit, and compliance teams to support organizational goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred)
• 5+ years of technical accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Deep understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and technical accounting guidance
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) and Advanced Excel
