Overview
Sr Premium Billing Specialist III
Responsible for accurately balancing and reconciling health plan accounts receivable (AR). Researches, posts, and reconciles cash receipts and AR premiums. The Premium Billing Analyst directs an assigned group.
Full Time, Hybrid position at Sentara Health Plans, Virginia Beach.
Provides mentorship/guidance to team.
Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, Posting Payments, Write-offs, Refunds, Phone/Customer Service recovery.
MS Teams, Excel (Development and Creation, Pivot Tables, Spreadsheets), Outlook/Workday.
Education- High School Graduate or equivalent
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
- 5 years related experience required
- Communication Skills, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Posting payments, experience with write-offs and refunds
- Development/creation level of experience for Excel
- Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Dashboards
