Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Tax Professional to join our team in a full-time role. This position is based in Lakewood, CO, and offers flexibility for some remote work. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing complex individual, corporate, S-corp, partnership, and multi-state tax returns. The role also involves providing tax planning strategies, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining positive client relationships.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to the success of the firm’s clients.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in tax preparation, tax planning strategies, and understanding of individual, corporate, and partnership tax return processes
• Strong technical skills in tax compliance and accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.)
• Experience with Lacerte, CCH Pro System Engagement and Quick Books software is a plus
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to mentor and provide guidance to junior staff
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• 7 + years of tax experience, preferably in a public accounting environment
• Possibly looking to be on the "Partner" Track
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
