Our Accounting Controllership Services (ACS) team requires a proactive supervisor skilled in advanced financial and accounting services, proficient in multiple accounting software platforms for both business and non‑profit clients.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• 1+ year in a supervisory position.
• 5+ years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Real Estate.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage Intacct, Sage MAS 90, MIP, CCH Axcess, BILL, or ADP.
• Certified Public Accountant designation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply appropriate accounting principles to ACS engagements ensuring accurate and reliable data.
• Supervise, utilize, and train Accounting Clerks, Associates, and Senior Accountants.
• Review and provide feedback on work of clerks and associates.
• Communicate with clients to clarify information and resolve accounting issues.
• Market firm services to existing and prospective clients.
• Maintain productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours).
• Conduct research projects with minimal supervision.
• Ensure client confidentiality at all times.
• Complete client record‑keeping duties, including bank reconciliation, error correction, journal entries, and month‑end closing.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions.
• Assist Tax and Audit departments with supporting documentation for financial statements.
• Provide internal and external software consulting for database set‑up, troubleshooting, and client training.
• Develop and present Quick Books and/or other software training and promotional classes to clients.
• Analyze extensive data sets accurately.
• Prepare, supervise, and provide quality control for sales tax and payroll tax returns.
• Comply with all federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Evaluate records for accuracy and reconcile discrepancies, including opening retained earnings and loan closing statements.
• Prepare in‑house CPE training related to ACS services.
