General Overview:

• Client-facing meetings for document gathering, training, and presentation of recommendations.
• Build long-term relationships with growing companies and become a core part of the client’s team.
• Weekly bookkeeping tasks for clients, including but not limited to reconciliations, accounts receivable entry, accounts payable entry, cash flow reporting, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and monthly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for assigned clients.
• Process weekly and monthly posting for bank accounts and credit cards.
• Prepare Monthly and Annual Journal entries as required.
• Post Clients’ Payroll for 3rd Party Payroll System.
• Accurately use, monitor, and review third-party applications like , dext and uncat.
• Review and manage month-end process for multiple accounts, including review and reconciliation of the Balance Sheet.
• Review and process monthly and quarterly Sales and Use Tax for multiple clients.
• Reconcile Quarterly Payroll Filings.
• Ability to take over a new client and confidently clean up the balance sheet and income statement before handing it off to a bookkeeping associate.
• Ability to design an accounting system that might need to integrate with a client’s 3rd party system, whether that is through journal entries or some type of integration.
• Ability to review and mentor team members and their work.
• Ability to complete clean-up projects as assigned by my firm leadership.
• Lead Client calls to provide high-level customer service.
• Assist with year-end review and sending final reports to the client’s third-party CPA’s.
• Assist and support Budget and Forecasting Activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by firm leadership.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years performing key functions as an Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager.
• 3-5 years using Quick Books Online and/or Quick Books Desktop.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong verbal and written skills.
• Firm understanding of prepaids, accrual, and deferred revenue.
• Ability to handle multiple client.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor other team members.
• Strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, confident – position is work-from-home.
• Ability to have a home office environment.
• Ability to work on multiple clients and projects, and be able to transition between them.
• Superior management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
• Work availability during regular business hours.
• To be technically savvy and to be able to work within the firm's technology stack.

Education and Training

• Bachelors in Accounting is required.
• Proficient with Quick Books Online (QBO) and Quick Books Desktop (QBDT).
• Experience with third-party applications such as , Dext, and Uncat is preferred.
• Ongoing desire to increase knowledge of new technology and applications.
