Junior Property Accountant

- Record monthly property-level income and expenses to ensure accurate NOI reporting
- Manage fixed asset additions and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and revenue recognition principles
- Prepare acquisition entries, disposition entries, and gain/loss calculations per ASU 2017-05
- Perform variance analysis on operating revenue/expenses quarterly
- Review and approve property invoices and prepare CAM reconciliations
- File monthly/quarterly sales tax and municipal property income-related filings
- Conduct quarterly asset impairment analyses
- Assist with documenting accounting policies and improving workflows
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (internships or full-time)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel required
Experience:
- Hands-on experience with commercial real estate accounting
- Involvement with acquisitions, reconciliations, or asset disposition
- Background in corporate finance or audit
- Advanced MS Excel skills, MRI and Sage Fixed Assets
