- Conduct routine to moderately-complex audits and refund reviews involving transaction privilege and use tax
- Prepare detailed audit working papers and findings for final audit memorandums
- Research and resolve taxpayer appeals in a timely and accurate manner
- Educate taxpayers on tax laws and ensure compliance throughout the audit process
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Any combination of education and experience that meets the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA) requirements
- Minimum of six (6) months of audit-related experience
- Basic knowledge of transaction privilege and use tax laws, policies, and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially Pivot Tables
- Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related field
- Experience with Continuous Improvement/LEAN methodologies
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
