Seasonal Tax Expert - CPA or EA - Work from Home

Overview

Intuit is seeking Tax Experts for the upcoming tax season. If you have an active PTIN and an unrestricted credential (CPA, EA, or Practicing Attorney) we would love to connect with you!

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products by providing tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to customers using everyday language.
• Use state‑of‑the‑art video communication software to interact with customers and document interactions to maintain accurate records.

• Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws and an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Excellent customer service skills, confident and friendly video and audio interactions.

• Internet connection that meets Intuit security criteria.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.

Base pay range varies by location (e.g., Bay Area $27.80–$35.50 per hour, Southern California $27.80–$35.50, Colorado $26.50–$33.80, etc.). Eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Intuit conducts regular comparisons to drive ongoing pay equity for employees.
