Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior with a generalist background to join the team on a remote basis. This role offers flexibility, competitive hourly pay, and overtime compensation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple engagements independently.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute audit engagements for a variety of industries.
- Perform substantive testing, risk assessments, and internal control evaluations.
- Review work papers and ensure compliance with GAAP and firm standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and feedback.
- Communicate effectively with clients and resolve audit-related issues.
- Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of public accounting experience in audit.
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
- Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Hourly Rate: $30–$40 per hour.
- Overtime: Time and a Half (approx. 5 hours/week).
