Accounting Associate – Remote

The Associate Accountant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day routine maintenance of complete and accurate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger accounts and in preparing basic financial reports.

• Support assigned month end and year end accounting close procedures
• Create standard support schedules and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Calculate accrual entries and complete timely and accurate general ledger entries
• Assist team members with analysis projects
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

• Basic level knowledge of Excel (including detailed understanding of v-lookups, pivot tables and formulas) and Word
• Basic accounting, GAAP and FASB knowledge

• Experience with database tools: general ledger, fixed asset and accounting software
• Basic level knowledge of Power Point

Potential pay for this position ranges from $23.08 – $37.02 based on experience and skills.
