LHH is partnering with a growing firm looking to add an Audit Manager to their team. This role involves providing supervision on various audits and accounting functions. This is a remote position with approximately 35% travel to client sites. Candidates must be located in the Greater Detroit area to be eligible.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial documents, work papers and audit programs.
- Apply relevant regulations.
- Analyze and improve client internal controls.
- Communicate effectively with clients.
- Develop risk assessments and recommendations.
- Conduct and direct staff in various audit programs and services by following the prescribed procedures.
- Draft and review audit reports.
- Complete audits within firm timing guidelines.
- Provide leadership and assistance to Audit Associates.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting.
- CPA license, required.
- Minimum 5 years of audit experience, preferably in financial statement audits.
- Financial institution client industry experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel up to 35%.
