Senior Audit Associate (Phoenix, Arizona)

A Senior Audit Associate performs and supervises a broad range of accounting, auditing, and consulting activities for clients, including healthcare entities, not‑for‑profit clients, casinos and the hospitality industry, financial institutions, commercial businesses, and local and tribal governments.

• Provide continuous attention, communication, and coordination to clients.
• Build relationships with senior level client personnel.
• Obtain client expectations from management team and strategize a plan to meet those expectations.
• Inform Principal and Manager about issues, help prepare information to be communicated to client and document key client discussions.
• Develop project hour/cost budgets.
• Provide supervision, assistance and feedback to staff.
• Provide timely information about scope changes and inform Manager and/or Principal.
• Coordinate with Manager and/or principal to achieve committed deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Passed, conditioned or qualified to take the CPA exam.
• A minimum of two years’ work experience in public accounting.
• Willing to travel.

• Knowledgeable of AICPA professional standards.
• Knowledgeable of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledgeable of Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) pronouncements.
• Knowledgeable of Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) pronouncements.

Competitive Compensation

• Salary range: $72,000 to $108,000
• Final offer based on location, experience, skills, licensure, and business need
