This is a remote position for a Senior Tax Accountant with a focus on federal and state tax, tax planning, and tax review. The ideal candidate will manage 1040 individual returns, 1120S, and estate/trust returns, and work with high net worth clients.

• Preparing and reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates.
• Providing tax planning and consulting services to a diverse client base, including high net worth individuals.
• Researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice to clients.
• Assisting with internal tax operations and process improvements.
• Managing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring tax compliance and tailored advice.
• Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
• Staying updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
• Providing leadership and support to junior staff, fostering a positive work environment.

• Minimum 5+ years of tax accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA license is preferred.
• Proficiency in federal and state tax, tax planning, and tax review.
• Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing 1040, 1120S, and estate/trust returns.
• Experience working with high net worth individuals.
• Strong understanding of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
• Excellent research and interpretation skills regarding tax laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Leadership skills with ability to guide and mentor junior staff.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
