Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper with proficiency in App Folio to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with App Folio’s property management software and be confident in bank reconciliations, troubleshooting accounting entries, and managing direct client communications. This role is fully remote and requires strong organizational skills, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and monthly bookkeeping tasks for assigned property management clients

• Complete bank and trust account reconciliations using App Folio

• Troubleshoot and correct transaction and ledger issues

• Collaborate with team members via Slack and Asana to ensure timely task completion

• Serve as a point of contact for clients; provide clear, professional communication and support

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting best practices

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (property management industry preferred)

• Proficiency with App Folio property management software is required

• Experience with bank reconciliations and accounting workflows

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Tech-savvy and comfortable using Slack, Asana, and other remote tools

• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to manage time effectively in a remote environment
