We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our fast-paced Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial operations and long-term financial strategy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accrual accounting and is excited to manage financial functions including financial statements, payroll, budgeting, tax, audit, and risk management.

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional duties as necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation required.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and GAAP.
• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work well with senior executives and team, and to mentor/lead other team members.
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger processes.
• Experience with month-end/year-end close processes and strong accounting software administration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Must have experience in chart of accounts, account reconciliation, real estate, GAAP, outsourced accounting, public accounting, CPA, financial accounting, and accruals.
