Key Responsibilities- Process biweekly payroll and maintain accurate records in ADP Workforce Now
- Administer payroll for employees, including onboarding, training on timekeeping systems, and troubleshooting issues
- Audit and reconcile payroll, benefits, and deductions
- Prepare and monitor third‑party payments (taxes, retirement contributions, garnishments, etc.)
- Assist with payroll‑related accounting tasks, including expense and accrual understanding
- Generate and review reports for internal and external compliance
- Serve as backup for the Payroll Supervisor as needed
- Maintain personnel files and assist with audits and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred
- 4–10 years of payroll experience (equivalent to Accountant III level)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including payroll, expenses, and accruals
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and confident when interacting with employees at all levels
- PTO: 170 hours first year (pro‑rated), 7 holidays, 2 personal days
