• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products with sound professional judgment and in a timely manner.
• Provide tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries.
• Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information responsibly.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers.
• Interact with customers via video software, documenting interactions accurately.
• Adhere to Intuit’s operating values, including integrity without compromise.

• Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Passionate about helping clients navigate tax complexity and enhancing the brand.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and comfortable interacting with customers via video/audio tools.

• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and any required state licenses or permits.
• Secure internet connection meeting Intuit Security criteria.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week over three or more days.

Expected base pay range (per state):

• Bay Area, California: $21.50 – $27.50
• Southern California: $21.50 – $27.50
• Colorado: $20.50 – $26.20
• Hawaii: $21.50 – $27.50
• Illinois: $19.40 – $24.90
• Maryland: $20.50 – $26.20
• Massachusetts: $21.50 – $27.50
• Minnesota: $18.40 – $23.90
• New Jersey: $21.50 – $27.50
• New York: $21.50 – $27.50
• Ohio: $18.40 – $23.90
• Vermont: $20.50 – $26.20
• Washington: $21.50 – $27.50
• Washington DC: $21.50 – $27.50
