CPA Tax​/Financial Accountant

Looking for an exciting accounting opportunity in beautiful lakes country in Minnesota? Baillow Recruiting is assisting in the search for a CPA Tax/Financial Accountant to join our client's team in Fergus Falls, MN.

• ~50-60 hour work weeks during tax season on average.

We are looking for a highly autonomous individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. If you are comfortable with all aspects of accounting (tax experience preferred but not required) and are ready to join a small team with huge growth potential, this may just be your next great career move!

This position would ideally work in the office full time, but our client is open to exploring hybrid work options as well.

What You'll be Doing:

• Accurately prepare reports and financial statements.
• Data Entry (AP, AR, Journal Entries, etc)
• Keep abreast of industry trends.
• Prepare tax provisions, returns, payments, reports, and maintain a client tax database.
• There is ample room to add variety to this position with other tasks and responsibilities (accounting services, payroll, etc).
• Our client enjoys making sure everyone is handling duties they truly enjoy and are passionate about.

Who We're Looking For:

• CPA or EA - Required
• Highly self-motivated
• Ability to work well in high pressure situations and under strict deadlines.
• Great time management skills.
• Ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly accurate and detailed.
• Quickbooks knowledge is a plus, but not required.
