Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Bookkeeper, to work US hours
. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, is highly organised, and can maintain accurate financial records while balancing multiple priorities. Working remotely, you will support day-to-day accounting functions and provide accurate financial information that drives informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and related reconciliations.
  • Prepare and deliver basic financial reports and summaries for management.
Administrative & Support Duties
  • Maintain accurate, well‑organised, and up‑to‑date financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant regulations.
  • Provide ad‑hoc support for finance‑related administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related finance role.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly in writing and over video/phone calls.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
  • Previous experience working remotely or in a part‑time/small‑business finance environment is advantageous.
