Temporary Accounting Consultant

Location: Mostly Remote (Training on a Hybrid Basis)

Hourly Pay Rate: $35 - $45 per hour

Our client is a dynamic company in the wholesale retail sector, based in Toronto. With a dedicated team and a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, they are focused on effective cash management and operational excellence.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Temporary Accounting Consultant to support our client's finance team during a period of transition. This role is essential for ensuring smooth financial operations within the company.

What You'll Do:

• Process invoices and manage the accounting inbox.
• Set up weekly payments for wholesale accounts.
• Monitor bank accounts to confirm payments have been received and recorded.
• Manage high-volume credit card expenses.
• Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.

What You'll Bring:

• 5 years of bookkeeping experience, particularly in accounts payable and receivable.
• Familiarity with retail and wholesale accounting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Net Suite is a bonus).

This is a mostly remote position, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. Initial training will be conducted on a hybrid basis, providing opportunities to collaborate with team members in person as needed.
