Client Bookkeeper

Trial Balance are delighted to be working with a friendly and growing accountancy practice based in Wells, who seek an experienced Client Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is offered on a permanent and full-time basis, and will be predominantly office based with the occasional work from home.

The role involves working with a range of small businesses across a multitude of industries, providing support in all aspects of bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and management accounting. With a varied client base, you will quickly become a trusted advisor to your SME clients.

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in a small and close-knit team, with the confidence and interpersonal skills to build relationships. You will need to be able to work well independently and as part of a team.

The client is looking for someone with experience within an accountancy practice, who is adept at a variety of systems, including Xero and Free Agent. You will be expected to assist with systems implementations, training, and advising clients on systems best practice.
