Jr. Staff Accountant

Overview

We are looking for a Jr. Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team! This is a full time hourly, W2 position with full benefits and 100% work from home! We're looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills who wants to grow their career with a rapidly growing company.

• Maintain and organize all customer records
• Process all customer and vendor invoices and credit memos
• Collect and process payment from customers and vendors, and accurately record it into the system
• Manage a weekly collection process: calls and emails
• Research, track and resolve any issues
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Review and enter new customer and vendor information
• Assist AR Specialist, AP Specialist and CFO with financial audits if required
• Ad-hoc projects, reporting and account reconciliations, and other assignments as needed to support the finance team

• 3+ years of hands‑on accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups)
• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Preferred)
• Demonstrates a high level of customer service ability
• To be successful in this role, you should have attention to detail
• Has the ability to work independently, creative problem solve, and work through ambiguity
• Must have the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced and deadline‑driven environment
